FutureVision was hired to build an ecommerce website for Crown
Wire & Cable Co. Inc which was to provide information
about the company and its products. One of the major goals
of the website was to present product catalog and make visitors
contact sales department. Product catalog is presented as
a kit of categories and products placed to appropriate category.
Each product has specific properties and description. Administrator
is able to manage products and categories through administrative
interface in a real time mode. The site also includes newsletter
system, which enables to keep customers informed about the
latest news from the company, their prices, new products,
etc. Search function allows search through all site content,
which includes product catalog, descriptions of the products,
company info and other information. The admin interface
permits managing product catalog, sending newsletter and
re-indexing search database. The site look and feel enhanced
existing branding assets, which Crown Wire & Cable Co.
Inc. had established, and the ecommerce website functionality provided
them with an electronic medium for marketing the company. |
