National Television Company of Ukraine is the State TV Company which was responsible
for Eurovision 2005 Song Contest organization.
Eurovision Song Contest (a large event attracting millions of viewers and
guests running since 1956) is an annual televised song contest with participants
from numerous countries whose national television broadcasters are members
of the European Brodcasting Union. The contest is broadcast on television and
also radio throughout Europe.
Project Information
ESC web site was developed by FutureVision for the National Television Company
of Ukraine in very short terms, with very specific feature - ability to work
very stable with large number of visitors at the same time. FutureVision fulfilled
this purpose and developed interactive entertainment web site which has integrated Content
Management System. CMS allowed administrators fully control and edit all content
on the web site: upload new photos, new texts and news. As the result, ESC
web site contained plenty of actual and useful information for tourists, guests,
stuff and volunteers.
The design of the site is bright, stylish and eye-catching accurately reflecting
the mood of the show. Entering the web site – very stylish and emotional intro
appears and leads you through the “Awakening” – stylized introduction about
flower of the grape fern blooming legend.
