Neurosurgery International is a nonprofit volunteer medical services organization committed to improving neurological surgery and related health care in developing countries worldwide.

Project Information

When Neurosurgery International refered to FutureVision with a request to upgrade their image through the creation of a new logo identity and a complete redesign of their healthcare web site. We understood that a highly-experienced world-wide medical organization deserved our very best professional attitude and performance. Flash technology was a key in creating the new web-presence of Neurosurgery International. We realized that a well-established organization would not be served well by amateur Flash authoring. Choosing from several suggested variants we settled on a 3 language system with Flash intro. As a world-wide web site usability was a principle concern, we differentiated between two target audiences, one with a screen resolution of 800x600 and the other one with 1024x768 or higher. It was made to guarantee the best visual appearance of embedded flash objects. The final result has an improved professional and modern appearance, smaller file sizes and faster download speeds which have now been tested around the world. The Site is a real on line resource helping medical and healthcare stuff to get new knowledge and share their experience. Neurosurgery International is frequently updated by powerful yet easy to use content management system and contains special “Doctor to Doctore” area, allowing doctors to view unique case studies and join discussions in forum. It was an interesting project and we believe that we have not only added one more original web site design and Flash solution to our web site development portfolio, but also helped our client to convey their professional image via the Internet.
